FLUVALIDESIS (fluvalinate – APIVAR, apiguard), STRIPES (ACARAPIDOSIS, VARROATOSIS), 10 STRIPES
Release form: the drug is produced in the form of strips of wood with a size of 200x20x0.8 mm. The strips contain fluvalinate and environmentally friendly oils of thyme, rosemary, lavender as active ingredients.
Properties of the drug: the use of the drug does not cause the appearance of resistant populations of ticks. Fluvalides has a pronounced acaricidal and repellent effect against varroatosis, wax moth, pollen eaters and acarapidosis. The oils present in the composition of the preparation are natural substances that, in addition to the acaricidal effect against the Varroa destructor and Acarapis woodi mites, also have a bactericidal, insecticidal and fungicidal effect, helping the bee family to cope with other diseases on their own in the future.
Dosage and method of application: treatment of bees with the preparation should be carried out after the first inspection of bee colonies (in spring) and after pumping out, in the summer-autumn period. Processing is carried out by placing Fluvalidez strips in hives, at the rate of 2 strips for 10-12 nest frames. For nucleuses and small bee colonies (up to 6 frames), one strip placed in the center of the nest will be enough. The strips of the preparation should be fixed vertically, in the center of the street. In a weak colony, the strips are suspended between 3 and 4 honeycomb frames, in a strong colony – one strip between 3 and 4, the second strip between 7 and 8 frames. Depending on the amount of printed brood, the strips are left for 3 – 30 days.
Directions: the package should be opened immediately before using the drug. Honey from bee colonies treated with Fluvalides is used on a general basis.
Storage: the drug should be stored in a dry, dark place, out of reach of children, separately from food and feed, at a temperature from 0 ° to 25 ° C.
