1 ml of the drug contains the active substance:
lincomycin hydrochloride 100 mg.
Excipients: benzyl alcohol.
Pharmacological properties
Lincomycin is a lincosamide antibiotic, a product of Streptomyces lincolnensis.Β It acts mainly on gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms, including Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Bacillus anthracis, Corynebacterium spp., Actinobacillus spp., Bordetella spp., Some species of Nocardis and Actinomyces spp.Β Particularly effective against Serpulina hyodysenteriae and Mycoplasma spp .. Mechanism of action – inhibition of protein synthesis at the level of the ribosomal subunit 50S.
The drug is rapidly absorbed from the injection site Lincomycin is 50% bound to proteins.Β The concentration of lincomycin in the serum reaches a peak 2 hours after ingestion.Β The half-life is 2.5 – 4 hours.Β The vast majority of lincomycin and its metabolites are excreted mainly in the urine and bile.
Application
Treatment of animals and poultry suffering from septicemia, mycoplasmosis, as well as respiratory and digestive tract diseases caused by microorganisms sensitive to lincomycin.
Dosage
Intramuscularly in a dose:
- calves, pigs and sheep: 1 ml of the drug per 10 kg of body weight of the animal once a day for 3 days;
- dogs and cats: 0.5 – 1 ml of the drug per 5 kg of body weight of the animal once or twice a day for 3-5 days;
- poultry (broiler chickens, breeding chickens, repair young birds): 0.5 ml of the drug per 2.5 kg of body weight of birds once a day for 3 days.

Contraindication
Hypersensitivity to lincomycin.Β Do not inject rabbits.
Withdrawal period
Slaughter of animals for meat is allowed 7 days after the last administration of the drug.Β Until that time, the meat is fed to unproductive animals or disposed of.
Storage
In a dry dark place, out of reach of children, at a temperature of + 8 Β° C to + 15 Β° C.
After the first withdrawal from the vial, the drug should be used within 28 days if stored at a temperature of + 0 Β° C to + 5 Β° C.
Shelf lifeΒ 2 years.
