Pharmacological properties
Tylosin is a macrolide antibiotic that binds to the 50S ribosomal subunit and inhibits protein synthesis. Active against gram-positive bacteria Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Corynebacterium spp., Clostridium spp., Listeria, Erysipelothrix spp., Some strains of gram-negative bacteria Haemophilus spp., Pasteurella spp., Chym splas., And Actinom ., Ureaplasma spp., Rickettsia spp.
Oxytetracycline is a bacteriostatic antibiotic that acts on bacterial ribosomes, inhibiting protein synthesis. Has a wide range of action on gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria Streptococcus spp., Staphylococcus spp., Campylobacter spp., E. coli, Haemophilus spp., Pasteurella spp., Bordetella spp., Spirochetes, rickettsiae, many strains of mycoplasmia and mycoplasmas.
Vitamin C is an antioxidant, increases the body’s resistance to infections, speeds up metabolism.
After oral administration, oxytetracycline is rapidly absorbed. After 30 minutes, its concentration in blood serum is almost 60% of therapeutic, the maximum concentration in blood serum is reached in 2-3 hours. Oxytetracycline is almost not metabolized in the body, about 60% is excreted in the urine unchanged, the rest – in the bile.
After oral administration, tylosin is well absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract, creating bacteriostatic levels in the blood and tissues. Metabolized mainly in the liver, excreted mainly in urine and bile.
