Prazifene (praziquantel, fenbendazole) anthelmintic tabs for pigeons
Description
Powder of white or grayish color.
Composition
1 tablet contains:
- praziquantel – 1.43 mg
- fenbendazole – 11.43 mg
Excipients: sodium sulfate, sodium benzoate, tricalcium phosphate, lactose, chalk.
Prazifene – 50 tablets – an anthelmintic drug, the effect of which is due to the content of praziquantel and fenbendazole relative to nematodes and cestodes in pigeons. The combined action of praziquantel and fenbindazole expands the range of anthelmintic activity of the drug, does not require an increase in the dose for mixed helminthiasis, and makes deworming much more effective.
Application: The drug is used for the treatment and prevention of nematodes and cestodes in pigeons.
Dosage: the drug is given orally once, for pigeons weighing up to 250 g, 1 tablet each. With a strong invasion, the treatment is repeated after 4-6 weeks. For the purpose of prevention, it is recommended to repeat the treatment every 4 months.
Contraindications: Do not apply to emaciated birds. Do not use together with the components of piperazine, as well as cholinergic drugs (organophosphorus insecticides, anthelmintics) or immediately after their use.
Storage: Dry, dark place, inaccessible to children, at a temperature of 5 to 25°C.
