Tetra Medica ContraIck Plus is a high-efficacy agent for the treatment of skin diseases in freshwater tropical aquarium fish, such as white rash, Ichthyophthirius multifiliis, and against skin and gill parasites such as Trichodina and Chilodonella. The mixture is intended for external use in aquarium water and is contraindicated for invertebrates as well as sensitive plant species, such as kushira. When used properly, 20 ml of the drug is enough for 600 liters of water. It is not recommended to use this product with other medicines or water conditioners. Product: solution for external use in aquarium water. Original packaging 100ml.
Composition per 100 ml of solution: malachite green carbinol hydrochloride – 7,880 mg, formaldehyde – 3.20 mg
Scope: diseases of integumentary tissues of protozoan etiology, including ichthyoftiriosis (white spot disease), chylodonelosis and trichodinosis.
Symptoms of the disease: white spots or deposits on the skin and fins, trembling swimming movements, compression of the fins, rapid breathing, turbidity of the mucous membranes, friction when moving.
Contraindications and side effects: Not known. Please inform the veterinary clinic about any side effects you notice during treatment. In addition, side effects should be reported to the manufacturer or distributor.
Medicinal product for freshwater ornamental fish.
Dosage / Method of application: Add to the water of the aquarium with sick fish once on the first day of treatment. Dosing is carried out using measuring divisions on the side of the vial (1 division corresponds to 10 ml)
For decorated aquariums:
Standard dosage of 5 ml per 20 liters. In severe disease, the dose is increased to 5 ml per 10 liters of water.
In quarantine aquariums (without bioactive filter and other equipment):
Standard dosage of 5 ml per 20 liters. In aquariums with sensitive fish, such as red neon, the drug is made in a dose of 5 ml per 40 liters.
The drug in the vial should be thoroughly shaken before introduction into water.
The course of treatment (exposure) is 5 days. After completion of treatment, it is recommended to filter the water through activated carbon and replace 1/3 of the water. If necessary, treatment is carried out in 2-4 courses until the disappearance of clinical signs of the disease, but not more than 20 consecutive days. Treatment of ichthyoftiriosis must be carried out in several courses.
Instructions for proper use: During treatment, you must turn off the lights and ensure good aeration of water in the aquarium. Absorbent filters (activated carbon, synthetic resins) and ultraviolet cleaners are not used in the treatment process. Do not use together with other water-soluble medicines and water conditioners.
Special precautions for storage: Store Tetra Medica ContraIck Plus in the unopened packaging of the manufacturer, in a dry place, protected from A4: C15 sunlight, away from food and feed, at a temperature not exceeding 25 Β° C. When opened, the product is stored no more than 6 months.
