Treatment and prevention of animals and poultry for diseases caused by gram-positive, gram-negative and other microorganisms sensitive to tiamulin and tylosin:
• poultry (chickens, turkeys, geese, ducks and their young) – bronchitis, mycoplasmosis, escherichiosis, pasteurellosis, diseases of the gastrointestinal tract and respiratory organs;
• pigs – erysipelas, dysentery, ileitis, leptospirosis, listeriosis, campylobacteriosis, colibacillosis, pasteurellosis, salmonellosis, infectious gastroenteritis, spirochete enterocolitis, atrophic rhinitis, enzootic pneumonia, actinobacillary arthritis pleuroplasmic pneumonia.
Do not administer to animals with hypersensitivity to tiamulin and tylosin, pregnant sows in the first month of pregnancy, breeding boars, laying hens during egg production. Do not use with penicillins, cephalosporins and lincomycin. Do not use for at least 7 days before and after treatment with the drug based on polyester ionophores (monensin, narasin, salinomycin, etc.).
Method of administration and dosage
The drug is administered orally with drinking water.
Doses of the drug for various animal species are shown in the table.
Timtil-250 is administered to the bird for 3-5 days with water in a dose of 1 ml per 1 liter of water. For prophylactic purposes – 0.5 ml per 1 liter of water.
Aerosolized at the rate of 1 ml per 10 m3, with an exposure of 30 minutes, 2-3 days in a row.
Pigs are given the drug in a mixture with water at a dose of 0.8 ml per 10 kg of body weight per day, 3-5 days in a row. When pigs are ill with enzootic pneumonia, mycoplasmic arthritis, the indicated dose is increased to 1.0 – 1.2 ml per 10 kg of body weight.
After a course of treatment for pigs with dysentery or ileitis, after 8-10 days, it is advisable to repeat the treatment with this drug or other antimicrobial drugs for oral administration (Brovamulin-100, Brovamulin-plus, etc.) in prophylactic doses according to the available instructions.
After the last use of the drug, slaughter of pigs and poultry for meat is allowed after 10 days. Meat obtained earlier than the specified period is disposed of or fed to unproductive animals, depending on the conclusion of the veterinarian.
