Pharmacological properties
Combined drug with a broad spectrum of antimicrobial action against gram-positive microorganisms Streptococcus spp., Staphylococcus spp., Clostridium spp., Bacillus spp., Corynebacterium diphtheriae, gram-negative microorganisms E. coli, Salmonella sppia. S., Shigella spp., Shigel. , Haemophillus influenzae, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Neisseria meningitidis, Francisella tularensis, Brucella spp., Proteus spp., Pasteurella spp., Bordetella spp., Anaerobic bacteria Escherichia coli, Proteus spp., Encycloperethbacterium spp., Klebsiella bacterium spp. Neisseria spp., Peptostreptococcus spp., Clostridium spp., Listeria monocytogenes, Treponema, Borrelia, Leptospira.
Benzylpenicillin – a bactericidal antibiotic from the group of natural penicillins, prevents the formation of peptide bonds by inhibiting transpeptidase activity, disrupts the late stages of synthesis of peptidoglycan cell membrane, which leads to lysis of dividing cells.
Streptomycin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic with a broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity, binds to the 3OS subunit of the bacterial ribosome, which leads to inhibition of protein synthesis in microorganisms.
Streptocide belongs to sulfonamides, acts bacteriostatically, preventing the use of para-aminobenzoic acid by microorganisms for the synthesis of dihydrofolic acid, which is involved in the synthesis of pyramidine bases of DNA and RNA of the microbial cell.
