Varotom (varroa mite treatment strips) for bees – bee mite 10 strips
Effective preparation for combating varoa mite in bees. Varotom works thanks to the “Fluvalinat” substance, which the strips are impregnated with. Each strip contains at least 80 mg of fluvalinate, which is enough to kill the tick population in the bee colony. Varotom is produced in the form of wood strips impregnated with the active substance. When placing the strip in the hive, place the strip in the middle between the combs. Thus, more bees will be able to touch the strip, thereby becoming carriers of the active substance. To kill ticks (up to 98-99%) in a bee colony, it is enough that only 10% of the bees touch the strip and spread the Fluvalinat substance throughout the hive.
Performance in beekeeping depends on the health of bees.
