Tiamulin antibacterial drug from the pleuromutilin group.
Has a bacteriostatic effect, suppressing protein synthesis at the ribosomal level, and is highly active against mycoplasmas (Mycoplasma hyopneumoniae, Mycoplasma hyorhinis, Mycoplasma hyosynoviae), spirochetes (Brachyspira hyodysenteriae, Brachyspira positive aerobes), gram-positive aerobes. Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp., Corynebacterium pyogenes and anaerobes (Clostridium spp.), Gram-negative anaerobes, incl.
