Tetra Medica GeneralTonic is a broad-spectrum drug designed for the effective treatment of bacterial and parasitic diseases, all types of wounds, fin rot of fish in freshwater aquariums. In addition to treating fish, the tool can also be used in quarantine and support. The active substances are ethacridine lactate, 9-aminoacridine hydrochloride, acriflavine and methylene blue. Successfully eliminates saprolegniosis, costiosis, bronchiomycosis, oodiniumosis, dactylogrosis and other common diseases of ornamental freshwater fish caused by bacteria, fungi and parasites. The undoubted advantage of the drug is its rapid effective effect on water blooms, due to the massive development of green and blue-green algae. The mixture is intended for external use in aquarium water and when used properly, 20 ml of the drug is enough for 500 liters of water. It is not recommended to use this product with other medicines or water conditioners. Procedure: for the treatment of ornamental fish in aquariums in diseases of integumentary tissues of bacterial, fungal and protozoan etiology, including myxobacteriosis, fin rot, saprolegniosis, achliosis, osteoarthritis, oodiniosis, and infected wounds.
Symptoms of the disease: shabby fins, flaky white plaque, dull white or gray areas on the mucous membrane of fish, compressed fins, clouding of the skin and eyes, shortness of breath, wounds, inflammation and redness.
Contraindications and side effects: Not known. Please inform the veterinary clinic about any side effects you notice during treatment. In addition, side effects should be reported to the manufacturer or distributor.
Medicinal product for freshwater ornamental fish.
Dosage / Method of application: Add to the water of the aquarium with sick fish once on the first day of treatment. Dosing is carried out using measuring divisions on the side of the vial (1 division corresponds to 10 ml)
For decorated aquariums: Standard dosage of 5 ml per 20 liters. In severe disease, the dose is increased to 5 ml per 10 liters of water and treatment is carried out in 2-4 courses until the disappearance of clinical signs of the disease, but not more than 20 consecutive days.
In quarantine aquariums (without bioactive filter and other equipment): 5 ml per 20 liters. The drug in the vial should be thoroughly shaken before introduction into water. The course of treatment (exposure) is 5 days. After completion of treatment, it is recommended to filter the water through activated carbon and replace 1/3 of the water. If necessary, treatment is carried out in 2-4 courses until the disappearance of clinical signs of the disease, but not more than 20 consecutive days.

Instructions for proper use: During treatment, you must turn off the lights and ensure good aeration of water in the aquarium. Absorbent filters (activated carbon, synthetic resins) and ultraviolet cleaners are not used in the treatment process. Do not use together with other water-soluble medicines and water conditioners.
Distribute Tetra Medica GeneralTonic evenly in the aquarium in the following amounts:
Day 1: make 30 drops (1.5 ml) per 100 liters of aquarium water. It is recommended not to feed the fish.
Day 2: make 15 drops (0.75 ml) per 100 liters of aquarium water. It is recommended not to feed the fish.
Day 3-6: Do not use. Follow the usual feeding regimen.
Day 7: make 30 drops (1.5 ml) per 100 liters of aquarium water. It is recommended not to feed the fish.
Day 8: Do not use. Follow the usual feeding regimen. Perform a partial water change (30-50%). After partial water replacement, it is recommended to use activated carbon for water filtration.
If there is no improvement, it is recommended to repeat the treatment cycle no earlier than 2 weeks.
