I. General information.
1. Caporsen is a homeopathic medicine intended for the regulation of mineral metabolism in animals.
2. Caforsen contains as active ingredients:
Calcium carbonicum, Calcium phosphoricum, Calcium fluoricum, Silicea, Phosphorus, as well as auxiliary components: sodium chloride and water for injection (injection solutions) or sugar crumbs, calcium stearate (tablets).
3. Caforsen is produced in 10 and 100 cm3 in glass vials of appropriate capacity, sealed with rubber stoppers, reinforced with aluminum caps, or in tablets – 50 tablets each in polymer jars for medicines closed with polyethylene lids or on orange glass jars of appropriate capacity.
Store Kaforsen in a dry, dark place at temperatures from 00C to 250C.
The shelf life of the medicinal product, subject to storage conditions, is 3 years from the date of manufacture (solution for injection), 5 years (tablets). The drug in vials with impaired integrity, in the presence of turbidity or discoloration, foreign impurities, with an expired shelf life or violation of storage conditions is not suitable for use.
II.Pharmacological properties.

The active ingredients in homeopathic dilutions included in the composition of the drug contribute to the regulation of phosphorus-calcium, magnesium and silicon metabolism, increase the activity of osteoblasts and fibroblasts, elasticity and strength of connective tissue, stimulate tissue regeneration in case of injuries of the musculoskeletal system.
5.In terms of the degree of impact on the body, Kaforsen belongs to low-hazard substances (hazard class 4 according to GOST 12.1.007-76), does not have a local irritating and sensitizing effect, its components do not accumulate in the body of animals.
III.Application order
6. Kaforsen is prescribed to animals of all age groups in order to regulate mineral metabolism, in the complex therapy of osteoporosis, osteomalacia, rickets and injuries of the musculoskeletal system; for the prevention of eclampsia in lactating females.
7. Caforsen solution for injection is administered to animals intramuscularly or subcutaneously in the following doses:
horses 5.0-10.0 ml;
cattle 5.0 ml;
calves, foals 2.0-5.0 ml
for cats, dogs, ferrets, rodents 0.1 ml per 1 kg of belly weight (0.5-4.0 ml)
Caforsen solution for injection is used once a day until the clinical signs of the disease disappear. The duration of the course is 3-4 weeks. If necessary, repeat the course. For the prevention of eclampsia in lactating females, Caforsen solution for injection is used one week after childbirth, once a day. The duration of the course is 2-3 weeks.
8. Kaforsen tablets are administered to animals inside once a day. The duration of the course of treatment is 3-4 weeks. A single dose of the drug per animal is:
dogs of large breeds – 3 tablets
dogs of medium breeds – 2 tablets
small dogs, cats – 1 tablet
ferrets and ferrets 1 / 2-1 tablet
rodents 1 / 4-1 / 2 tablets
9. Side effects and complications when using Caporsen in accordance with this manual have not been established.
10. The use of Caporsen does not exclude the use of other drugs of etiotropic, pathogenetic, and symptomatic therapy.
11. Livestock products during and after the application of Caporsen are used on a general basis.
IV.Personal Prevention Measures
