Deltok, 100 ml (deltamethrin)

100 ml of the drug contains:

active substance deltamethrin – 5.0 g

Pharmacological properties:

ATCvet QP53FA, insecticides; pyrethrins, including synthetic compounds.

Deltox has a wide range of insect-acaricidal action, active against Ixodes, scabies, chicken, barn mites, flies, gnats, bedbugs and other ectoparasites of animals.

Deltamethrin (active substance of the drug – a synthetic pyrethroid, is effective in direct contact with ectoparasites:

• hair follicles (family Trichodectidae), lice (families Naematopinidae, Holopeuridae, Linognathidae), bloodsuckers (family Hyppoboscidae);
• acariform mites (families Demodecidae, Psoroptidae, Sarcoptidae) and parasitoform mites (families Ixodidae, Argasidae, Dermanyssidae);
• blood-sucking insects (families Muscidae, Calliphoridae, Sarcophagidae).

The mechanism of action of deltamethrin is to block the transmission of nerve impulses by ganglionic peripheral nerves, resulting in paralysis and death of parasites. Deltox is moderately toxic to warm-blooded animals, in the recommended doses and concentrations does not have a local irritant and allergenic effect. Toxic to fish and bees.

Application:

Treatment and prevention of cattle, sheep, pigs, chickens with lesions of ectoparasites (Ixodes and sarcoptoid mites, lice, hair eaters, bloodsuckers, biplanes).

Dosage:

• cattle 0.5 – 1 liter;

Contraindication:

Slaughter of animals and poultry for meat is allowed not earlier than 5 days after the last application of the drug.

Eggs and milk must not be eaten for 3 days after processing.

The drug is incompatible and interacts with oxidizing substances and halogens.

Avoid contact with skin, mucous membranes, eyes. When working with the drug to use personal protective equipment.

Contaminated with the drug container is neutralized for 5-6 hours with 3-5% soda ash solution, then washed with water. Residues of the drug are neutralized with 5% sodium hydroxide solution or aqueous suspension of slaked or chlorinated lime (diluted with water in a ratio of 1: 3). Neutralized drug residues and flushing water after processing containers and overalls are poured into a pit at a depth of at least 0.5 m, located at a distance of at least 50 m from water sources, reservoirs, rivers and grazing areas, then buried.

Storage:
