Why is it important to use Bactozym?

Previously, it was necessary to wait from three to four weeks to introduce the first fish into a new aquarium. This time is required for microorganisms to populate the filter and the walls of the aquarium in sufficient quantities. Only after the aquarium has been biologically activated, organic impurities, as well as harmful nitrogen compounds, can be broken down by bacteria. These bacteria maintain good water quality and a healthy aquarium environment.

Also in existing aquariums, in certain situations, a reduction or deterioration of the bacterial composition can occur, for example, during a partial water change, when cleaning or replacing the filter material, or after applying fish treatments.

Bactozym solves these problems in two ways:

1. It promotes the enzymatic breakdown of organic compounds such as food residues, fish waste products, dead plant parts, humus, etc. With selected enzymes, Bactozym helps to reduce water stress and improves water quality and clarity.

2.
