Closan 5% euro (250 ml) *inj

Original price was: $76.22.Current price is: $63.91.
Closan 5% (closantel) injectable
Prevention and treatment of cattle and small ruminants from the following diseases
Closantel blocks the phosphorylation process (formation of ATP) in the body of parasites through interference in the process of transporting electrons, changing energy meΒtabolism, resulting in the death of parasites.
Closantel has a wide range of actions, effective in the treatment of parasitic diseases of cattle and small rumiΒnants caused by nematodes, trematodes, and arthropods.
Closantel is rapidly absorbed after oral or intramuscular administration. The maximum concentration in the blood of sheep is reached after 8-24 hours after administration, the blood of cattle – 24-48 hours.
The half-decomposiΒtion is approximately 12-15 days. Most part of the used closantel is concentrated in the lungs and kidΒneys, and the main way of its metabolism is renewable deionization.

Kloziver for cattle, sheep, goats (100 ml) *inj

Original price was: $74.94.Current price is: $62.81.
Kloziver (closantel,ivermectin) injectable
Kloziver is a combination drug, comprising closantel and ivermectin. Closantel is a salicylamide’s derivative, providing antiparasitic action. Closantel’s mode of action centers around inhibition of oxidative phosphorylation. Specific action centers around ATP stimulation, leading to stopping of a phosphorylation process and electrons’ transfer, changing suchwise parasite’s energy metabolism. This leads to its death. Ivermectin refers to compounds, which are produced by Streptomices avermitis. Ivermectin’s mode of action on parasite’s body centers around secretion stimulation of GABA (gamma-amino-butyric acid), which binds to special receptors of nerve endings, blocking nerve impulses and causing paralysis and death of a parasite.

Closantel

Closantel is an antiparasitic active ingredient used in veterinary medicine against internal parasites (e.g. some roundworm species and liver flukes) and some external parasites (e.g. sheep nasal bots, cattle grubs, etc.) of livestock. It is not used against agricultural and household pests. It belongs to the chemical class of the salicylanilides.
