Pharmacological properties

АТСvet code QP52 anthelmintic veterinary drugs, (QP52AH01 piperazine).

The drug has a detrimental effect on larval and adult forms of helminths, disrupts neuromuscular regulation in nematodes, causing hyperpolarization of nerve cell membranes and paralysis, inhibits succinate dehydrogenase, catalase, acetylcholinesterase. Rapidly absorbed in the digestive tract. Excreted from the body, mainly in the urine for 24 hours. Low toxicity to the body of animals and birds allows you to feed the drug to a group of animals with food.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to piperazine, liver disease, renal failure.

Warning

The slaughter of animals for meat and the use of eggs is allowed after 4 days, and the consumption of milk for human consumption 24 hours after the last use of the drug. In the case of slaughter before the deadline, the meat is used for feeding carnivorous animals or for the manufacture of meat and bone meal, and the milk is fed to unproductive animals.
