VitamAll URINARY is used to prevent vitamin and mineral deficiency, to increase immunity, to prevent diseases of the digestive and respiratory systems, to stimulate reproductive function and growth, as well as to prevent the onset, relapses, and as an adjunct in the treatment of urolithiasis and urological syndrome.
It has now been proven that – insufficient intake of water in the cat’s body and an increased pH value of urine, contributes to the formation of uroliths and the occurrence of urolithiasis.
Evolutionarily, cats have a weakened sense of thirst. They have a high concentration of urine (in a small volume of liquid – a high salt content), which, accordingly, can also contribute to the formation of calculi.
Mechanism of action of VitamAll Urinary:
The low content of protein, calcium, phosphorus, and magnesium creates unfavorable conditions for the aggregation and crystallization of sediment in the urine. Methionine supplementation creates and maintains urine pH, which promotes dissolution and prevents struvite re-formation. Unfavorable conditions are created for the growth of bacteria in the bladder.
Knotweed (bird knotweed) removes excess sodium and chloride salts, as it increases their filtration in the glomeruli of the kidneys and slows down the reabsorption in the kidney tubules. Knotweed contains a large size of silicic acids, which form soluble compounds with calcium, which are eliminated in the urine. Silicic acids, passing through the urinary tract together with urine in the form of colloids, prevent the crystallization of salts and their deposition.
Birch bud extract liquid as a diuretic, anti-inflammatory, choleretic, antispasmodic and disinfectant is used for diseases of the kidneys, urinary system, and colds. The extract enhances the formation of urine without irritating the kidneys, promotes the elimination of water from the body, flushing the urinary tract with infectious and inflammatory diseases of the kidneys and urinary system, with gout. The extract can destroy small stones, mainly of phosphate and carbonate origin (“soft” inconsistency), without affecting oxalate and urate stones (denser).
