Pyrantel pamoate is a broad-spectrum anthelminthic drug. The mechanism of action is associated with blocking neuromuscular conduction in helminths. Is active against Enterobius vermicularis, Ascaris Iumbricoidcs, Ancylostoma doudenalc, Necator Ameri-canus, Trichostrongylus oricntalis, Trichostrongylus colubriformis. It acts on both sexually mature and immature individuals of both sexes, does not affect larvae in the migration stage.
