PACKAGING

The product is packed in glass or polypro­pylene bottles of 10, 50, 100, 200, 500 and 1000 ml.

The suspension of white color, odor­less and tasteless.

PHARMACOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS. АТСvet QP52А, anti-distichiasis drugs (АТСvet QP52AС11, albendazole)

The active ingredient of the drug – albendazole – methyl [5-(propilsulfanil)-1n-benzimidazole-2-il] carbamate be­longs to the group of benzimidazole. Albendazole exhibits larvicidal, ovicidal and vermicidal activity, and is thought to exert its anthelmintic effect by inhibiting tubulin polymerization. This causes a cascade of metabolism disruption, including energy depletion, which immobilizes then kills the susceptible helminth.

Albendazole – broad-spectrum anthelmintics, effec­tive on mature forms of trematodes (Fasciola hepatica and Dicrocоelium lanceatum), nematodes, that parasit­ize in the digestive tract and lungs (Bunostomum spp., Cooperia spp., Dictyocaulidae spp., Haemonchus spp., Nematodirus spp., Ostertagia spp., Strongyloides spp., Triсhostrongylus spp., Trichuris spp. etc.), and some species of cestodes (Avitellina centripumctata, Moniezia expansa, Moniezia benedeni, Thysaniezia giardi).

APPLICATION. Deworming of cattle, sheep, goats, horses, pigs, dogs, cats, furry animals, birds with nema­todes lesions (mature and immature forms), some types of cestodes and trematodes.

                Cattle: nematodes, trematodes, cestodes.

                Sheep, goats: nematodes, trematodes, cestodes.

                Pigs: nematodes.

                Horses and other lipids: nematodes, cestodes.

                Dogs, cats, fur animals: nematodes, cestodes.

                Hens: nematodes, trematodes.

DOSAGE. The product is given with water before the morning feeding, individual doses are given in the table below. The dosage of Albendazole suspension for ani­mals of different species

CONTRAINDICATIONS. should not be administered to female cattle during the first 4-6 weeks after insemination.

PRECAUTIONS. Slaughter of cattle, sheep, and goats for meat is allowed 7 days, pigs – 10 days, birds – 2 days after the last administration of the drug; use in food of internal organs (liver, lung, heart) pigs allowed after 35 days, ruminants and poultry – 20 days, drinking milk – 2 days after the last use of the drug.

STORAGE. A dry, dark place, away from children at the temperature from 0°C to 30°C. Do not store together with food, beverages, animal feeds.

Shelf-life– 3 years from the date of manufacture.
