Universal medicine for aquarium fish Aquayer AquaMed 100 ml

AQUAYER Aquamed is a concentrated preparation with a wide spectrum of action. Effective against ectoparasites, including ichthyophthyroidism (ichthik, semolina), as well as against other external pathogens – fungi, bacteria, viruses (for example, fin rot).

An improved analogue of the classic FMC, which does not contain formalin (formaldehyde) poisonous to fish. The composition includes safe and effective aldehyde – a substitute for formaldehyde, as well as methylene blue and malachite green.

What are the benefits of AQUAYER Aquamed?

Most domestic and imported preparations for pest control of aquarium fish contain formaldehyde (formalin) as one of the antiseptic components. It helps to get rid of external parasites, but at the same time it is extremely toxic to aquarium fish. Often, such treatment of the aquarium leads to the death of fish, especially at high dosages. But, despite this, many manufacturers do not refuse to use formaldehyde (formalin) due to its low price.

AQUAYER Aquamed does not contain formaldehyde. Instead, the preparations use a more effective antiseptic, safe for fish aldehyde – a substitute for formaldehyde. Therefore, using AQUAYER Aquamed, you reduce the likelihood of fish poisoning to a minimum even at overestimated dosages.

The new version of AQUAYER Aquamed has become four times more concentrated, so now AQUAYER Aquamed is much more economical than analogues from other manufacturers. 100 ml of the drug is enough to treat 2000 liters of water.

Application

Before using the drug, turn off UV sterilization and remove adsorbents from the filter (for example, activated carbon).

On the first day, before using the drug, change 50% of the water, and then apply AQUAYER Aquamed at a dosage of five pumps (1 ml) for every 20 liters of water. If the symptoms do not disappear, after 24 hours, repeat half the indicated dosage and after another 24 hours – a quarter of the indicated dosage. In especially severe cases, repeat the indicated dosage on the second and third day. The use of round-the-clock aeration is mandatory. To increase efficiency, it is recommended to turn off the lights on the first day of treatment.

After the end of the course of treatment, it is mandatory to make two water changes, 50% water on the fourth day and 50% on the sixth from the start of treatment, or use activated carbon as an adsorbent.

In order to preserve the microflora of the aquarium and save the drug, you can carry out the procedure described above in a specially prepared quarantine aquarium.
