aversectin C – 0.05 g

Pharmacological properties:

Aversectin C is a product of microbial synthesis using a culture of Streptomyces avermitilis, has antiparasitic properties. The drug in the body of the parasite enhances the formation of the neurotransmitter gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), which binds to special receptors on nerve endings, blocking nerve impulses, causing paralysis and death of the parasite. The drug is low-toxic to mammals.

Application:

Treatment of dogs, cats, fur-bearing animals and rabbits at defeat by arachno-entomoses: psoroptosis (Psoroptes сuniculi), otodectosis (Otodectes cynotis), notohedrosis (Notoedres cati, N. сuniculi), sarcoptosis (Sarcoptes canis, Sarcodeus demoliptes D. cati); lesions of hair follicles (Trichodectes canis Felicola subrostratus), lice (Linognathus setosus, Haemodipsus ventricosus), fleas (Ctenocephalides canis, Ctenocephalus felis, Spilopsyllus cuniculi).

Dosage:

For the treatment of animals with psoroptosis, otodectosis, notohedrosis, sarcoptosis, the drug is applied to the affected areas at a rate of 0.2 g / cm2.

The treatment is carried out twice with an interval of 5-7 days, if necessary, repeat the treatment.

In demodicosis – the affected areas are treated with the drug at the rate of 0.2 g / cm2.

The treatment is repeated five times with an interval of 7-10 days.

To combat fleas, lice and hair follicles, the ointment is rubbed against the hair in places inaccessible to lick.

Processing is carried out twice with an interval of 7-10 days.

Contraindications:

Do not handle weakened, overtired and sick animals.

Reservation:

Slaughter of rabbits for meat is allowed on the 5th day after the last treatment.

Until this time, the meat is used to feed carnivores.
