ApivaroI (25 tablets) varroa mite treatment for bees
One of the largest pests in the apiary, with which beekeepers endlessly have to fight, is the varroa mite. It is this one that is capable of destroying more than one bee colony. For the prevention and destruction of it in the hive, a number of drugs have been invented. One of the most effective and fast-acting medicines is Apivarol, which is given in the form of tablets.
APPLICATION OF THE PREPARATION FOR VARROATOSIS APIVAROL
Apivarol treatment is carried out in spring or autumn at a temperature of at least 10 C. The hives should be processed in the evening after the end of the summer of the bees.
Dosage. One bee colony requires one tablet. The drug in the hive disperses in the form of smoke. To do this, set the pill on fire and lower it through the notch to the bottom under the honeycomb. After that, the entrance is closed for 20 minutes.
Varroa mites fall to the bottom of the hive and die within 2-72 hours. To check for paralyzed mites, a sheet of paper smeared with vegetable fat can be placed on the bottom of the hive.
The best results can be obtained with two or three treatments at intervals of 4-6 days.
The drug “Apivarol” in the fight against varroatosis is especially effective if the treatment is carried out with the help of varoadzhet.
