Description

It is a thin wood strips impregnated with active substances amitraz and thymol.

Compound

Each strip contains:

amitraz – 6.75 mg;

thymol – 0.8 mg. Pharmacological properties
 

It has a pronounced acaricidal contact action against adult forms of  Varroa jacobsoni .
Indications

Varroatosis (varroosis) of bees.

Dosage and method of application

Bee colonies are treated in spring (after the first examination of bee colonies) and in the summer-autumn period (after honey is pumped out) by placing strips of the drug in the hives at the rate of 2 strips per 10-12 nesting frames. For small families (up to 6 frames), layers and cores, 1 strip is enough, which is placed in the center of the nest. Before use, it is necessary to make a hole at one end of the strip, thread a hairpin through it and fix the strip vertically exactly in the center of the hive (in its middle part) between the two frames of the bee nest. In a weak family, 1 strip is hung between 3 and 4 comb frames, in a strong one – one strip between 3 and 4, the second strip between 7 and 8 frames. The strips are left in families for a period of 3 to 30 days, depending on the number of brood.

Not installed.

Cautions

Open the package only in the apiary before processing the bees. Honey collected by processed families is used for food on a common basis.

Storage

In a dry, dark place, out of the reach of children, away from heaters and sources of open flame, at temperatures from 0 °C to + 30 °C.

Shelf life –  2 years from the date of manufacture.
