Mode of application
The strips are opened immediately before use. Fasten one tape through two frames. Processing of bee colonies with Antivaro is carried out in early spring when larvae and pupae occupy a small space in the bee colony; in the summer – at the end of July – beginning of August, when the uterus lays eggs in a limited way, the area with larvae and pupae is insignificant, and the rest of the area is filled with honey, and most female ticks are found on bees. Processing is carried out immediately after downloading honey with a centrifuge from the main bee honey plant; in autumn – in September, when the area with bee larvae and pupae decreases significantly.
The dose depends on the strength of the bee family. For layering and weak bee colonies – 1-2 strips. For normally developed and strong bee families – 2-4 strips. Keep tapes in the hive for 35 days, but not more than 6 weeks. For the diagnosis of varroatosis, it is necessary to put a white, greased sheet of paper at the bottom of the hive, hold the strips for 24 hours and thus reveal the diagnostic result.
