Atoxil VP is a veterinary drug belonging to the group of new generation enterosorbents based on highly dispersed silicon dioxide.
Due to the original microspherical structure, Atoxil VP exhibits high sorption activity and speed of action.
In the gastrointestinal tract, Atoxil VP quickly binds and removes from the body toxic substances of various origins, namely:
- microbial toxins and other harmful substances that enter the stomach with poor-quality food;
- allergens (substances that provoke allergic reactions);
- toxic metabolic products formed in the body with diseases of the stomach, liver, and kidneys;
- poisons and salts of heavy metals.
Once in the gastrointestinal tract, Atoxil VP exerts its effect within the first minutes, which provides a quick result.
The drug is used for prophylaxis and in a complex of therapeutic measures, as an oral sorbent for cattle, pigs, dogs, cats, broiler chickens for gastrointestinal diseases with a diarrheal syndrome, hepatitis, intoxication, mycotoxicosis.

Atoxil VP is used orally with drinking water, preparing a suspension at the rate of 2 g per 20-50 ml of water.
The shelf life of an aqueous suspension of Atoxil VP is no more than 32 hours, provided that it is stored at a temperature of 2 to 8 ° C.

The daily dose is divided into 3-4 doses per day. The maximum single dose should not exceed half of the daily dose.
For broiler chickens, for the purpose of prophylaxis, the drug is used for 5-7 days, for therapeutic purposes – within 3-5 days or until the symptoms of the disease disappear.
Young animals for the prevention of gastrointestinal diseases and digestive disorders are used Atoxil VP 2-3 times a day for 2-3 days, for adult animals with clinical manifestations of poisoning and diseases of the gastrointestinal tract with diarrheal syndrome, the drug is used as a sorbent 2-3 once a day for 2-3 days or until complete recovery.
Dogs and cats – 2-3 times a day for 2-3 days.
If necessary, the dose can be doubled.
Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to silicon dioxide, gastric ulcer, intestinal ulcer, gastric and intestinal bleeding, intestinal obstruction.
Caution: When working with the drug, do not let the drug get into the eyes, do not inhale, observe the general rules of personal hygiene and protection, safety measures provided for when working with veterinary drugs. When mixing the drug with feed, you should wear protective goggles, gloves, avoiding the formation of dust, and work in a well-ventilated area.

Storage conditions: Store in its original packaging in a dry, dark place, at a temperature from 0 to 25 ° C, with a relative humidity of no more than 75%.
