BIOPROTECT VETEXPERT is recommended for dogs and cats with imbalance of microflora in the gastrointestinal tract caused by diarrhea, antibiotic therapy or deworming, as well as for animals that grow and are prone to constipation.

Probiotics 5,000 million CFU: Lactobacillus acidophilus, Enterococcus faecium, Bifidobacterium longum, Lactobacillus rhamnosus Mannanoligosaccharides
Fructooligosaccharides

Properties and application:

The bacteria mentioned: Lactobacillus acidophilus + Enterococcus faecium + Bifidobacterium longum + Lactobacillus rhamnosus, totaling 5 billion CFU per gram, were selected for their known beneficial properties. They are a normal component of a healthy microflora of the gastrointestinal tract. An increase in the number of these bacteria in the intestine stimulates the production of short-chain fatty acids (acetic and lactic acids), which are an additional source of energy for intestinal cells. They facilitate the absorption of ions, reduce the risk of diarrhea and form metabolic waste products, thereby inhibiting the growth of pathogens such as E. coli and Salmonella sp.

Fructooligosaccharides is a prebiotic that is a natural food element of probiotic organisms and is not used by pathogenic bacteria. Prebiotics lower the pH of the chyme, which stimulates the growth of beneficial bacteria in the gastrointestinal tract while inhibiting the growth of potentially harmful bacteria such as Clostridium perfringens. Prebiotics improve the consistency of stool without increasing its volume, they inhibit the formation of endotoxins and reduce the amount of substances decomposed in the large intestine.

Mannanoligosaccharides, due to their adhesive properties, block the places where harmful bacteria attach to enterocytes, which prevents the concentration of pathogenic bacteria in the intestine. They also increase the amount of IgA antibodies in the large intestine and in the blood, thereby helping to strengthen the immune system of the gastrointestinal tract.

Dosage:

With antibiotic therapy – 1 capsule per day (continue for another 7 days after the end of therapy).
For growing animals – 1 capsule per day for 20 days.
With diarrhea, a tendency to constipation – 2 capsules per day for 10 days.
After deworming – 1 capsule per day for 7 days.

The capsule can be introduced directly into the oral cavity of the animal or mixed with food. The animal must be provided with drinking water at all times.
