One ml of the drug contains the active substance:

medroxyprogesterone acetate – 50 mg.

Pharmacological properties

Medroxyprogesterone acetate is a semi-synthetic progesterone derivative with progesterone-like action. Inhibits the secretion of gonadotropins by the hypothalamus, adenohypophysis of gonadotropic hormones (follicle-stimulating and luteinizing), follicle maturation and ovulation, resulting in blockage / delay of estrus.

Application

Blocking (interruption) and delay of estrus in bitches and cats; treatment of uterine bleeding, cat nymphomania; prevention of pseudo pregnancy in bitches.

Dosage

Subcutaneously or intramuscularly in doses:

Bitches – body weight up to 10 kg – 1 ml; body weight 10-45 kg – 1.5-2.0 ml of the drug per animal;

cats – one ml of the drug per animal.

Contraindication

Do not use: in the phrase – proestrus, oestrus, metoestrus; cat, in diseases of the breast and genitals; immature; diabetics. Do not use bitches breed – greyhound.

Reservation

In the case of long-term use of large doses of the drug may be apathy, weight gain, endometrial hyperplasia, fibrocystic degeneration and breast tumors, metritis, pyometritis. Young animals that have not reached sexual maturity often lack estrus and infertility. After discontinuation of the drug, even in the recommended doses, there is a violation of the sexual cycle.
