Hepatiale Forte for dogs of small breeds and cats, 40 capsules
Hepatiale Forte Small breed & Cats is designed specifically for small dogs and cats to maintain stable liver function. The dose of active ingredients is selected according to the needs of small dogs. According to the impact on the animal’s body, this drug can be safely attributed to hepatoprotectors, which have an effect on the animal’s body in different directions:
protects liver cells from harmful effects
promotes the regeneration of damaged liver cells
restores liver cell function
promotes digestion of fats and absorption of the vitamins dissolved in them
prevents the development of liver fibrosis (growth of connective tissue without changing its structure, occurs due to all liver diseases, regardless of etiology)
Hepatiale Forte Small breed & Cats is recommended to take, because in the animal’s body the liver is responsible for neutralizing toxins, synthesizing nutrients into energy and more, and taking care of the liver will maintain the health of your pet as a whole.
The main directions of action
- Protection and recovery of liver cells
- Elimination of destruction caused by pathological processes
- Accelerate the regeneration of damaged liver cells
- Restoration of normal functioning of liver cells
- Inhibition of liver tissue fibrosis
- Participate in the digestion of fats and, thus, the assimilation of fat-soluble vitamins
- Regulation of the urea cycle.

Pharmacological properties
Phospholipids – esters of glycerol and choline-phosphoric acid, have a protective and regenerating effect on liver cells.Β Due to the content of polyunsaturated fatty acids, phospholipids cannot be synthesized by the body.Β Phosphatidylcholines entering the tissues are embedded in the cell membranes of hepatocytes damaged due to pathological processes, restoring their integrity.Β Thus, they accelerate the regeneration of damaged liver cells and the normalization of their functions.Β As a result, the work of receptors of cell membranes and enzyme systems is improved, the processes of active and passive transport are optimized.
Phospholipids are crucial for the differentiation and proliferation of liver cells.Β Slow down the process of liver fibrosis by reducing the production of collagen and activation of collagenase (an enzyme that breaks down collagen).Β Phospholipids, along with bile acids, play an important role in the processes of fat breakdown and absorption of fat-soluble vitamins.Β Ornithine in dogs and cats regulates the cycle of urea synthesis, participating in the conversion of ammonia formed during the resynthesis of amino acids into urea.Β It also reduces the toxic effects of ammonia on the body.
Ornithine is especially important for cats, which use amino acids for energy production, as a result of which they have a very intense process of deamination.Β Ornithine is especially indicated for cats diagnosed with hepatic encephalopathy (or suspicion), as well as long-term starvation.
The compound of phospholipids and ornithine in dogs and cats acts as a hepatoprotector, purposefully protects liver tissue, initiates the regeneration of hepatocytes and supports liver function, especially during the treatment of liver disease.
Indication
Designed for dogs and cats that need support and restoration of liver function.
Dosage, application:
- for cats – 1 capsule per day
- for dogs of small breeds – 1 capsule for every 5 kg of animal weight per day
Tablets or capsules should be taken whole or crushed, with or without food.Β If the dosage per day involves the use of several tablets (capsules), the daily dose can be divided into 2 or 3 doses.Β The animal should be provided with constant access to fresh water.
To achieve optimal results, it is recommended to use the drug for 1 to 3 months, in cases of chronic diseases – up to 6 months.
