Atoxil VP is an enterosorbent with pronounced sorption properties and detoxifying effect. Adsorbs from the digestive tract and removes from the body endogenous and exogenous toxic substances of food origin, bacterial allergens, microbial endotoxins, toxic products with impaired digestion of proteins in the intestine.

The drug is practically not absorbed in the intestine.

Application

The drug is used prophylactically and in a complex of therapeutic measures as a sorbent for oral cattle, pigs, dogs, cats, broiler chickens in gastrointestinal diseases with diarrhea, hepatitis, intoxication, mycotoxicosis.

Dosage

Atoxil VP is administered orally with drinking water, preparing a suspension at the rate of 2 g of the drug per 20-50 ml of water. The shelf life of the aqueous suspension of Atoxil VP is not more than 32 hours if stored at a temperature of 2 to 8 ºC. It must be shaken immediately before each use.

Atoxil VP in powder form can be added to feed at the rate of 200-500 g of the drug per 1 ton of finished feed by stepwise mixing, pre-mixing thoroughly 1 part of the drug with 10 parts of feed.

The daily dose is divided into 3-4 doses per day. The maximum single dose should not exceed half the daily dose.

• For broiler chickens, the drug is used for prophylactic purposes for 5-7 days, for therapeutic purposes – for 3-5 days or until the symptoms disappear.
• Young animals for the prevention of gastrointestinal diseases and digestive disorders use Atoxil VP 2-3 times a day for 2-3 days.
• Adult animals with clinical manifestations of poisoning and diseases of the gastrointestinal tract with diarrheal syndrome, the drug is used as a sorbent 2-3 times a day for 2-3 days or until complete recovery.
• Dogs and cats – 2-3 times a day for 2-3 days.

If necessary, the dose can be doubled.

Contraindication

Hypersensitivity to silicon dioxide, peptic ulcer of the stomach, intestines, gastric and intestinal bleeding, intestinal obstruction.

Special precautions for use

Do not inhale detergent!

Do not use oral powder of the drug in its pure form!

Do not use simultaneously with other oral drugs!

The aqueous solution of the drug should be shaken immediately before each use.

Atoxil VP is used 1 hour before feeding or using other veterinary drugs.

When working with the drug, do not allow the drug to get into the eyes, do not inhale, follow the general rules of personal hygiene and protection, safety precautions provided when working with veterinary drugs. When mixing the drug with food should wear goggles, gloves, prevent dust, work in a well ventilated area.

In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.

Storage

Store in the manufacturer’s packaging in a dry dark place at a temperature of 0 to 25 ° C, at a relative humidity of not more than 75%.

Shelf life of the drug – 3 years.

The shelf life of the aqueous suspension of Atoxil VP is not more than 32 hours if stored at a temperature of 2 to 8 ºC.
