BISANAR 50ML. (varroa mite treatment) (oxalic acid, coriander and fir oils, thymol)
A modern preparation for combating the Varroa bee mite. Bisanar is used for sublimation or for fumigating bees with smoke using a sublimation device or the modern Varomor smoke cannon. One bottle should be enough for 25 hives. Depending on the strength of the bee colony, one (for the average strength of the bee colony) or two (for strong families) smoke clubs with Bisanar are given to the hive. One puff of smoke corresponds to 1 ml of the drug.
Treatment of bee colonies with the drug is recommended at a temperature not lower than 12 degrees. To consolidate the therapeutic effect, the treatment must be repeated after seven days. Honey from families processed by Bisanar can be used for food on a general basis. But even so, the manufacturer recommends fumigating the bees with Bisanar (or sublimation) 30 years before the flowering of the main honey plant.
