Indication
Treatment of horses, cattle, pigs, sheep, goats, dogs, cats with general depression, weakening of the heart, fatigue, slow metabolism, difficult childbirth, labor paresis, intestinal spasms, intoxication with drugs for anesthesia and more.
Method of application and dosage
The drug is administered subcutaneously in the following doses per 1 animal:
- horses, cattle – 10-25 ml;
- pigs, sheep, goats – 2-7 ml;
- dogs – 0.5-1.5 ml;
- cats – 0.2-0.5 ml.
When administered orally, these doses are increased by 2 times.
If necessary, the drug is allowed to be administered 2-3 times with an interval of 7 hours.
Reservation
Do not inject intramuscularly!
Use in maximum therapeutic doses sometimes enhances cardiac activity, cowardice and reflex excitability.
Concomitant use with α- and β-adrenomimetics increases the risk of hyperstimulation, with analgesics and antipyretics – increases their bioavailability, with anxiolytics – reduces their effect, with isoniazid, cimetidine – increases the effect of caffeine, with MAO inhibitors and arterial inhibitors. and psychostimulants – increases the risk of hyperstimulation, with sleeping pills and sedatives – reduces the sedative effect, with thyrotropic drugs – increases their effect, with ergotamine – improves the absorption of the latter in the gastrointestinal tract.
Contraindication
Do not prescribe to animals with hyperexcitability, malformations of the cardiovascular system.
Storage conditions
In a dry, dark place at a temperature of +3 to +25 ° C. Do not allow the drug to freeze. After opening the vial, store the drug in the refrigerator and use within 48 hours.
