Sinulox RTU Synulox Amoxicillin, clavulanic acid Solution for injection, 100ml (Clamoks analog)
Amoxicillin, clavulanic acid injected suspension for Cattle, Pigs, Dogs, and Cats
Composition and form of release
Sinulox RTU is a sterile oily suspension for injection of light cream color, containing 1 ml as active ingredients:
amoxicillin in the form of amoxicillin trihydrate 140 mg
clavulanic acid in the form of calcium clavulanate 35 mg.
Produced in glass bottles of 100 ml
Pharmacological properties
Sinulox RTU has a broad spectrum of bactericidal activity against most gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms, including β-lactamase-producing strains: Streptococcus spp., Staphylococcus spp., Corynebacterium spp., Clostridium spp. coli, Salmonella, Bordetella bronchiseptica, Campilobacter spp., Klebsiella, Proteus spp., Pasteurella, Fusobacterium necrophorum, Bacteroides, Haemophilus spp., Moraxella spp., Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae and Actinobacillus ligneresi.
Resistance to b-lactam antibacterial drugs is usually due to the ability of microorganisms to produce b-lactamase – an enzyme that destroys the b-lactam ring of the antibiotic before it can act on the bacterial cell.
Clavulanic acid, which is part of Sinulox RTU, inactivates b-lactamase and thus restores the sensitivity of bacteria to the bactericidal action of amoxicillin in concentrations that are easily achieved in animal tissues after administration of the drug.
Indication
Prescribed to cattle, pigs, dogs and cats for the treatment of bacterial infections of the respiratory tract, gastrointestinal tract, genitourinary system, soft tissues and skin.
Dosage and method of application
Sinulox RTU suspension for injection is administered to cattle and pigs only intramuscularly, dogs and cats – intramuscularly or subcutaneously at a rate of 8.75 mg per 1 kg of animal weight, equivalent to 1 ml of the drug per 20 kg of animal weight, 1 time a day for 3 – 5 days.
Shake the contents of the vial thoroughly before each use to obtain a homogeneous suspension.
Only dry syringes and needles are used to administer the drug. It is recommended to gently massage the injection site after administration of Sinulox RTU.
