Evers device 1-bottom parts for livestock
The Evers device is used in postpartum paresis in animals by injecting air into the breast through the papillary canal. Before injecting air, it is necessary to express milk and disinfect the nipples of the animal. The animal is given a dorsal-lateral position. After that, the catheter is carefully inserted into the papillary canal and air is gradually pumped (gradual pumping of air has a more intense effect on the receptors). This procedure is performed with other nipples. Air must be evenly distributed in all parts of the udder due to smooth pumping. After this procedure it is necessary to massage the nipples of the animal. There is also the option of pulling the nipples with a bandage. The well-being of the animal after injection is markedly improved in the next 30 minutes. You can also repeat this procedure after 6-8 hours.
