Composition:

Act:
Kaniquantel Plus XL affects the muscle innervation of parasites, causing their death. It is active against nematodes, cestodes and trematodes of dogs and cats at both sexually mature and ovocidal stages, as well as against protozoal infections.
Indications:
It is used for the treatment and prevention of helminthiasis in dogs caused by: toxocara canis, toxocara mistax, toxocaris leonina, uncinaria stenocephala, ancylostoma caninum, echinococcus granulosus, alveococcus multilocularis, multiceps multiceps, dipilidium s.
Dosage and method of administration:
The tablets are administered to animals once inside a piece of meat, sausage, with minced meat, porridge or on the root of the tongue, preferably before morning feeding and without the use of laxatives. The drug is given in a dose of 1 tablet per 20 kg of body weight or 1/2 tablet per 10 kg of body weight. It is necessary to monitor the consumption of the drug. In case of refusal of food with an anthelmintic, caniquantel plus is administered in the form of an aqueous suspension using a syringe without a needle or catheter.

Caniquantel Plus XL is used from 4 weeks of age to puppies one week before vaccination. For adult animals 3-4 times a year. With an established diagnosis, deworming must be repeated after 3 days. It is advisable to additionally conduct scatological studies.
