Description

Tablets of white or grayish color, round cylindrical form, flat.

Pharmacological properties

Fenbendazole belongs to the group of benzimidazoles, has a high anthelmintic activity and a wide range of action, destroys the larvae of mature nematodes, some species of cestodes, and trematodes and their eggs. Destroys the microtubules of helminth digestive cells and causes them a neurotoxic effect. It has a detrimental effect on the larvae of various stages and disrupts the integrity of the helminth egg shells, after which they are unable to develop further.

Method of application and dosage

Before use, the tablets are crushed, mixed with food and given at the beginning of morning feeding.

Reservation

After the last application of the drug, slaughter of cattle, sheep, goats, pigs for meat is allowed in 10 days, poultry – in 3 days. People can eat liver, lungs, heart of animals in 20 days, milk – in 2 days.

Indication

Treatment of cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, horses, carnivores and fur animals, chickens, geese with mature and immature forms of nematodes, some types of cestodes and trematodes.

Contraindication

Do not use simultaneously with antifasciological drugs, as well as for 7 days after treatment of animals with bromsalanes.
