Description

Opaque liquid of red-brown color without sediment, with a specific smell.

Composition

100 ml of the preparation contains active ingredients:

iron dextran (in terms of active iron) 50 mg;

copper chloride 2.7 mg;

cobalt chloride 0.27 mg;

Vitamin B1 3.0 mg;

Vitamin B2 1.14 mg;

Vitamin B5 0.16 mg;

Vitamin B6 0.28 mg;

Vitamin PP 43.0 mg;

EDTA sodium salt, phenol ChDA, enzymatic soy protein hydrolyzate, 1 n sodium hydroxide solution (NaOH), 1 n hydrochloric acid solution (HCl), pyrogen-free water to 100 ml.

Pharmacological properties

Ferolife + Vit has a high biological activity when administered parenterally, it activates redox reactions, increases the nonspecific resistance of the organism, normalizes the water-salt and vitamin metabolism. B vitamins stimulate blood formation processes, in combination with iron dextran they enhance erythropoiesis. Amino acid-peptide complex normalizes and activates the metabolism, restores the protein composition of the blood, the immune system, and also accelerates the increase in body weight. Amino acids, peptides and trace elements that make up the drug, show synergism of action, thereby enhancing the action of each other.

Application

Cattle, horses, pigs and small domestic animals for the prevention and treatment of anemia, edematous disease of piglets, hypovitaminosis, in violation of mineral and protein metabolism, developmental delays, stress, appetite, as a means of rehabilitation therapy after diseases, injuries, severe childbirth, exhaustion, and also intoxication.

Dosage

Ferolife + Vit is administered to animals subcutaneously or intramuscularly. At the needle injection site, the skin is pre-biased to the side so that the drug does not leak out after injection. In winter, before using the bottle with the drug is heated in a water bath to 36-38 ° C.

As a preventive measure, Ferolife + Vit is used once a week: for cows 20-40 days before calving, two to three times 40 ml per animal; calves at 1-4 days of life, repeat two to three times 10-20ml; sows a week before insemination, then after three weeks of gestation, during the period of active development of the fetus, once a week for 4 weeks 20 ml per head, after farrowing with an interval of 1-2 days for the treatment of anemia due to blood loss during injuries, gastric ulcer, pathological childbirth 40-60ml; to piglets at 3-7 days of life 5 ml, repeat after 7-10 days at a dose of 10 ml, before weaning 10-20 ml; horses intramuscularly 4-5 injections with an interval of 2-5 days 20 ml per animal; small domestic animals with a live weight of up to 5 kg, 2-5 ml, weighing from 5 kg and more than 5-10 ml of the preparation per animal.

For therapeutic purposes, the drug is used as directed by the doctor of veterinary medicine individually for each animal twice a week, small pets 2-3 times a week. The duration of treatment is 2-4 weeks.

Contraindications

Increased sensitivity to components. It is forbidden to apply Ferolife + vit animals inside. Do not mix the drug with other drugs in the same syringe.

Warning

Slaughter of animals after application of Ferolife + Vit and the use of meat is allowed without restrictions. It is not recommended to administer to animals in one place more than 10 ml of the drug.

Expiration date 2 years from the date of manufacture. An open vial with the drug should be used within 12 days after opening;
