Peana’s curved clamp is one of the most common hemostatic devices used in medical and veterinary practice to compress damaged blood vessels during surgery.

Design features of the curved Pean clamp

The hemostatic clamp is made of alloy special grades of steel. The working part curved in the vertical plane allows to carry out manipulations in the limited zone and hard-to-reach places. A distinctive feature of Pean’s design is the oval (with notches) shape of the tips. This minimizes the risk of damage to nearby tissues, as well as provides good opportunities to work with suture material: it easily slips off the cheeks and securely covers the vessel.
