Pharmacological properties
The complex compound of iron hydroxide and low molecular weight dextran replenishes iron deficiency, stimulates the hematopoietic system, increases hemoglobin, increases the number of erythrocytes and improves the safety of young domestic animals.
APPLICATION
Method of application and dosage
Before use, the drug is warmed to the body temperature of the animal and injected deep intramuscularly into the thigh or neck.
The prophylactic dose is administered once and is (per 1 animal):
- sows 3-4 weeks before farrowing – 10 ml;
- piglets aged 3-4 days – 1.5-2 ml;
- calves aged 5-6 days – 8-10 ml;
- lambs aged 3-5 days – 2-3 ml;
- mink – 0.3-0.5 ml.
For the treatment of animals with signs of anemia, the drug is administered in these doses 2-3 times at weekly intervals.
