Description:
Transparent colorless liquid.
Composition:
1 ml of the drug contains the active ingredient:
gentamicin sulfate – 10 mg.
Excipients: benzalkonium chloride, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, propylene glycol, polyethylene glycol 1500, dimethyl sulfoxide, water for injection.
Pharmacological properties:
Gentamicin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic that acts bactericidal against some gram-positive and most gram-negative bacteria, such as: Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus spp., Escherichia coli, Salmonella spp., Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Pasteurella multocida, as well as mycoplasma. Gentamicin exhibits antimicrobial action by inhibiting protein synthesis in the ribosomes of microorganisms.
Application:
Treatment of acute and chronic ear diseases (otitis media, eczema and dermatitis of the auricle) and infected ear wounds in dogs, cats, rabbits and decorative rodents.
Dosage:
The drug is instilled in 2-5 drops into the sore ear 2 times a day. The course of treatment is 3-7 days, depending on the course of the disease.
It is recommended to treat the second ear of a sick animal at the same time.
Contraindications:
Individual hypersensitivity to gentamicin sulfate.
Do not use if the tympanic membrane is damaged.
Caveats:
Mixing gentamicin sulfate with heparin, B complex vitamins, penicillins, cephalosporins, erythromycin, sulfonamides in one syringe is not allowed.

Bottles made of glass, closed with a rubber stopper for an aluminum rim, 10 ml each, enclosed in a box with an insert card and a dropper cap.
Storage:
Dry, dark place inaccessible to children for temperatures from 5 to 25 ° C.
