White or light gray powder, microgranular, odorless.
Pharmacological properties
Fenbendazole belongs to the group of benzimidazoles, has a high anthelmintic activity and a wide range of action, destroys the larvae of mature nematodes, some species of cestodes and trematodes and their eggs. Destroys the microtubules of helminth digestive cells and causes them a neurotoxic effect. It has a detrimental effect on larvae of various stages and disrupts the integrity of helminth egg shells, after which they are unable to develop further.
Indication
Treatment of cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, horses, carnivores and fur animals, chickens, geese affected by mature and immature nematodes, some types of cestodes and trematodes.
Contraindication
Do not use simultaneously with antifasciological drugs, as well as for 7 days after treatment of animals with bromsalanes.
Method of application and dosage
Before use, the drug is mixed with food and given at the beginning of morning feeding individually or in groups.
Before group deworming, each batch of the drug is pre-tested on a small number of animals, which are observed during the day. In the absence of complications, you can carry out mass deworming.
In the group method, the total dose of the drug is increased by 5%.
