Pharmacological properties:
The drug has an irritating, distracting, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial (especially on coccal forms of bacteria) effect. When applied to the skin, it irritates the nerve endings, which is manifested first by a feeling of cold, and then burning, decreased sensitivity and redness (increased blood flow to the application site). It is well absorbed by the skin.
Application:
The drug is used as an anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial agent for the treatment of cattle, horses, pigs, sheep, goats, dogs, cats with arthritis, bursitis, myositis, tendovaginitis, rheumatic muscle inflammation, soft tissue injuries.
Dosage:
The drug is applied externally after hygienic treatment of the affected area of the body by rubbing or applying with tampons and applications 1-2 times a day for 1-2 ml per 5 cm2 surface until the disappearance of clinical signs of the disease.
Contraindication:
Do not use in animals before slaughter for meat and dairy animals.
Do not use in animals sensitive to camphor (young animals are more sensitive).
Warning:
The drug is incompatible with chloral hydrate, phenol, thymol, salol, menthol.
Prolonged use may cause skin irritation.
