Composition:
1 ml of the drug contains the active substance:
progesterone – 25 mg.

Pharmacological properties:
The drug has a biological and therapeutic effect of the natural hormone of the corpus luteum: it reduces the excitability and contraction of the muscles of the uterus, creates the necessary conditions for fertilization, reduces the sensitivity of the uterus to oxytocin, stimulates the functional activity of the mammary gland.
After administration, the drug is rapidly absorbed from the injection site and distributed in the organs and tissues of the animal. Metabolized in the liver. Excreted with urine 50-60% and with faeces 10%.
According to the degree of impact on the body, the progesterone solution is classified as a low-hazard substance, it does not irritate the tissues.

Application:
A solution of progesterone is used in animals to prevent abortion during normal prolapse, to inhibit estrus. Before use, warm up the preparation to 37 °C.

Dosage:
Intramuscularly or subcutaneously 1 time per day with an interval of 4-7 days in a row.
