The drug is active against gram-positive bacteria (Actinomycos spp., Bacillus antracis, Clostridium spp., Corynebacterium spp., Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae, Streptococcus spp., Staphylococcus spp., Diplococcus spp.), gram-negative microorganisms (Pastuerella multocida, Salmonella spp., Actinobacillus spp., Fusobacterium spp., Bordetella bronchiseptica, Leptospira spp., Haemophilus spp., Bacteroides nodosus, Moraxella spp., Proteus mirabilis), and as chlamydia (Clamidia spp.), mycoplasma (Micoplasma spp.).
Tylosin tartrate reveals bacteriostatic effect by inhibition of protein synthesis (via irreversible connection with pidodynytsyamy 50S bacterial ribosomes) and microbial cell growth and reproduction, respectively.
