Uroli suspension (KIDNEY PROTECTION)

Description:
Suspension from light brown to dark brown with a smell inherent in herbal infusion.

Structure:
1 ml of the drug contains:

cranberry extract – 25 mg,

bearberry extract – 15 mg,

horsetail extract – 15 mg,

hop extract – 15 mg,

half-pala (erva woolly) extract – 5 mg.

Excipients: purified water, glycerin, xanthan gum, flavor, sweetener, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate.

Pharmacological properties:
Urolik has a diuretic, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, reparative, antioxidant, membrane stabilizing, vessel-strengthening, prostatoprotective effect, promotes the dissolution of stones (except for oxalates) and the removal of sand from the kidneys and bladder,

The cranberry extract that is part of Urolik contains benzoic acid, which enhances the effect of antibiotics and sulfonamides. Cranberries contain citric, quinic, benzoic and oleic acids, vitamins C and P, carotene, saponins, amino acids, rutin, quercitin, glycoside, trace elements (iodine, iron, copper, manganese). Cranberry tannin has a special ability to adhere to various disease-causing bacteria and excrete them in the urine. Cranberries have a healing effect on urinary tract infections and cystitis.

Bearberry extract, which is part of Urolik, has an anti-inflammatory and diuretic effect. The antimicrobial and antiseptic properties of bearberry are provided by phenol glycoside arbutin, which is broken down in the body to form hydroquinone. Hydroquinone, excreted in the urine through the kidneys, enhances urination and has an antimicrobial effect. Bearberry extract also has an astringent, moderate analgesic and choleretic effect.

Pol-Pala extract is a herbal remedy obtained from the herb of Erva woolly or half-pala (Aerva lanata L.). The half-burnt herb contains alkaloids ervine, methylervine, pectin substances, derivatives of oleanolic acid, feruloylamides, flavonoids, phenolic acids, potassium salts and other biologically active substances. Pol-Pala extract has a disinfecting and diuretic effect, helps to remove sand from the kidneys and dissolve stones, cleanses the urinary and gall bladders, removes radionuclides from the body, and normalizes the metabolic process in the body.

Horsetail extract contains a complex of biologically active substances (including silicic acid, saponins, tannins, organic acids, salts), provides a diuretic, anti-inflammatory, hemostatic, antimicrobial, detoxification (removes lead) effects. In urine, silicon salts form colloids that prevent the crystallization of urinary calculi.

Hop extract contains flavonoids, polyphenolic substances, hydroxycinnamic acids, tannins, humic acids, vitamins. The active active components of plant origin in the hop extract have anti-inflammatory, analgesic, reparative, antioxidant, membrane stabilizing, antimicrobial and prostate protective activity.

Application:
For the prevention and treatment of dogs and cats:

prevention of urolithiasis, diseases of the urinary tract and kidneys;
prevention of renal failure;
in complex therapy in the treatment of urolithiasis;
in complex therapy in the treatment of diseases of the genitourinary system (nonspecific urethritis, cystitis, urocystitis);
in complex therapy in the treatment of kidney diseases (glomerulonephritis, interstitial nephritis, pyelitis, pyelonephritis);
removal of pain and urological syndrome;
normalization of the smooth muscle tone of the renal pelvis and ureter (facilitates the process of removing calculi)
decrease in azotemia increased excretion of nitrogenous and toxic substances in the urine.
Inflammatory diseases of the urinary tract (as part of complex therapy), nonspecific inflammatory diseases of the kidneys and urinary tract with moderate edematous syndrome, as well as a diuretic. It is prescribed for dogs and cats to lower urine pH and remove crystals from the urinary tract due to the mild diuretic effect of the drug. It is especially recommended for animals with an increased risk of morbidity – castrated, sterilized, inactive, obese.

Dosage:
Shake well before use.

For prophylaxis, Urolik should be administered orally at a dose of 1 ml per 10 kg of animal body weight 2 times a day for 5-7 days. Repeat the course every 3-4 months.

For the treatment of animals with urological syndrome or the initial stage of urolithiasis, the drug is recommended to be administered in a dose of 2-4 ml per 10 kg of animal body weight, orally 2 times a day for 5-7 days. Treatment must be combined with the use of symptomatic agents.

Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to components.

Release form:
Bottles made of polymeric materials: 10, 50 and 100 ml each, complete with a syringe-dispenser and enclosed in a box.

Storage:
In the manufacturer’s sealed packaging, in a dry, dark place out of the reach of children, separately from food and feed, at a temperature from 2 ° C to 25 ° C.

Shelf life : 2 years from the date of manufacture, after opening the bottle – no more than 21 days.
