Description:
Tablets from light brown to dark brown in the form of a bone with a dividing groove in the center with the taste of meat.
Storage:
One tablet contains the active substances:
- febantel -150 mg,
- pyrantel embonate -144 mg,
- praziquantel-50 mg.
Pharmacological properties:
Drontal® plus has a wide range of anthelmintic action at all stages of development of roundworms and tapeworms, including Toxocara canis, Toxocara leonina, Uncinaria stenocephala, Echinococcus multilocularis, Dipylidium caninum, Multiceps multiceps, Taenia spp.

The action of febantel leads to a violation of muscle innervation, paralysis, death of nematodes and promotes their elimination from the gastrointestinal tract. The action of pyrantel embonate leads to irreversible paralysis and muscle contracture in nematodes, which leads to the death of the parasite and promotes its elimination from the gastrointestinal tract. The action of praziquantel leads to a violation of muscle innervation, paralysis and death of cestodes.
Indication:
For the prevention and treatment of puppies and adult dogs in the defeat of round and tapeworms:
- round: Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonine (adults and larvae), Uncinaria Stenocephala, Ancylostoma caninum, Trichuris vulpis (adults);
- Echinococcus granulosus, Echinococcus multilocularis, Dipilididum caninum, Taenia spp.
Dosage:
The recommended dose is: 1 tablet per 10 kg of body weight of the animal (15 mg of febantel, 14.4 mg of pyrantel embonate and 5 mg of praziquantel per 1 kg of body weight).
In giardiasis, the recommended dose is: 1 tablet per 10 kg of body weight of the animal (15 mg of febantel, 14.4 mg of pyrantel embonate and 5 mg of praziquantel per 1 kg of body weight) for 3 consecutive days.

For oral administration, the tablets can be given directly to the dog or disguised in food.
Orally, the pill can be hidden in food or given directly to the dog. Diet is not required. It is recommended to give the tablet before eating.
Application:
Duration of treatment: once. If necessary, repeat in 2 weeks. Deworming is recommended once a quarter.
Contraindication:
Do not use concomitantly with piperazine compounds.
Do not exceed the dosage for pregnant females.
Do not use in pregnant females in the first two-thirds of pregnancy.
