ECOPOL The drug is used for the treatment and prevention of both varroatosis and acarapidosis in bees.
Composition and form of release: the drug is supplied in the form of wooden strips soaked in essential oils of mint, menthol, wormwood, coriander, hermetically sealed in polyethylene bags, 10 strips per pack.
Properties of the drug: thanks to essential oils, the drug has a pronounced repellent and acaricidal action against the varroa mite as well as the wax moth. The use of the drug contributes to the elimination of not only the above diseases, but also other pathogenic organisms. Exposure to Ecopol does not lead to the emergence of resistant tick populations.
Dosages and method of application: Ecopol should be used at the rate of 2 plates for 10-12 nest frames. For weak families, hang one plate between 3 and 4 frames. For strong bee colonies, hang one plastic at a time between 3-4 and 7-8 frames. In the case of very small families (6 frames, nucleus), one strip suspended in the center of the nest will be sufficient. The strips are left in the nest for 3 to 30 days, depending on the intensity of the mite shedding and the amount of printed brood.
If the nesting of the hive is not large and the use of the preparation strips did not require a long time, it is recommended to seal the strips hermetically after removing them from the hive and, if necessary, reuse.
The use of the preparation, therefore, does not cause any complications in the bees
Storage: the shelf life of the drug is 2 years, provided that all storage standards are observed.
