Acepromazine maleate is a neuroleptic from the group of phenothiazines, sedatives. Its use as a solution for injection of 1% provides a calming and muscle relaxant effect by reducing the excitation of the central nervous system. At the same time, the drug has hypothermic, antihypertensive, antihistamine, adrenolytic, antispasmodic, antiemetic effect, enhances hypnotics and local anesthetics.
