Oridermyl Ear Ointment (permethrin, neomycin, triamcinolone)
Otic Ointment β treats otitis externa, outer ear infection, caused by yeast and bacteria.

Yellowish ointment.
Storage
100 g of the drug contains active substances:
- permethrin – 1 g,
- neomycin sulfate – 350,000 IU,
- nystatin – 10,000,000 IU,
- triamcinolone acetone – 0.10 g.
Excipients: polyethylene wax FS6, liquid paraffin.
Pharmacological properties
ATC vet classification code QS02 – veterinary drugs used in otology. QS02CA04 – Triamcinolone and antimicrobial. Neomycin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic that acts bactericidal on gram-positive and most gram-negative bacteria (E. coli, Staphylococcus spp., Klebsiella spp., Corynebacterium spp., And others). Nystatin is an antibiotic that has a fungicidal effect. Particularly effective against Malassezia spp., Candida spp. Triamcinolone acetonide is a semi-synthetic corticosteroid characterized by anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic and sedative effects. Permethrin is a synthetic pyrethroid with acaricidal and insecticidal properties. It disrupts the work of sodium channels and blocks the transmission of nerve impulses in insects. Otodectes cynotis mites are especially sensitive to permethrin.
Application
Treatment of dogs and cats with otitis and dermatitis of the external auditory canal caused by bacteria, fungi and mites sensitive to neomycin, permethrin and nystatin.
Dosage
It is recommended to clean the ear canal before use.Β Apply a small amount of the drug (the size of a pea) and gently massage at the base of the ear.Β Remove excess drug near the auricle.Β The course of treatment is 21 days (period of the reproductive cycle of ticks Otodectes cynotis).
Contraindication
Do not use the drug for animals with hypersensitivity to the components of the drug, as well as with perforation of the eardrum.Β Do not use for cats weighing less than 1.5 kg, as well as kittens under 8 weeks.
Reservation
