Composition
1 ml of the drug contains active substances (mg):
- trivalent iron (in a complex compound of iron (III) hydroxide with low molecular weight dextran) – 100.0 mg;
- cyanocobalamin – 5.0 μg;
- folic acid – 200.0 mcg.
Excipients: phenol, water for injection.

FERUM + is a complex antianemic agent that increases the level of hemoglobin.
The drug replenishes iron stores, activates hemoglobin synthesis and hematopoiesis processes, and helps to increase the body’s resistance.
Iron is included in the composition of more than 70 compounds: hemoglobin, myoglobin, cytochromes, catalase, peroxidase, transferrin, ferritin, etc.
They perform the following functions in the body: transport and deposition of oxygen (oxygen) to tissues; transfer of electrons in the processes of tissue respiration, transport and deposition of iron (ferritin, transferrin, hemosiderin, etc.); participation in redox reactions.

Folic acid belongs to group B vitamins, takes part in hematopoiesis, synthesis of amino acids, pyrimidines and purines of nucleic acids, choline metabolism.
In combination with vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin), it stimulates the process of hematopoiesis.
