Description

Fipronyl Spray (Frontline analog) fast-acting flea and tick protection for dogs and cats, 100 ml

Solution for external use. Designed for dogs and cats.

Indications for use

For the treatment and prevention of parasites such as fleas (Ctenocephalides) and ticks (Rhipicephalus, Dermatocentor, Ixodes) in dogs. For the treatment and prevention of parasites such as fleas (Ctenocephalides felis) and ticks (Rhipicephalus, Ixodes) in cats. Treatment and prevention of flea allergic dermatitis (BAA) in cats and dogs. Prevention and treatment of dogs and cats from downy mildew infection.

Contraindication

Do not use for the treatment of puppies and kittens under 2 days of age. Do not use for the treatment of animals with common diseases, fever, etc., or animals in recovery. Do not use for the treatment of rabbits to avoid adverse effects, up to death.

Side effects

Licking animals treated surfaces causes a short-term increase in salivation, mainly due to the chemical composition of the carrier. In extremely rare cases, after the use of the drug adverse reactions such as erythema, itching or baldness. In some cases, increased salivation, reversible neurological symptoms (hyperesthesia, depression, nervousness), vomiting and difficulty breathing were observed after administration of the drug.

Special recommendations for use

All necessary measures should be taken to ensure that animals do not lick each other after treatment. Do not allow the dog to swim in open water for 2 days after treatment. After treatment of animal hair, single parasites may remain. That is why it is impossible to completely rule out the possibility of transmission of infectious disease under adverse conditions. Fipronil spray can be used to treat animals during pregnancy and lactation.

Dosage

Apply from 3 to 6 ml of the drug per 1 kg of animal weight (7.5 – 15 mg of fipronil per kg of body weight), ie 2 – 4 pressures on the nebulizer per kg for bottles of 250 ml and 500 ml, or 6 – 12 clicks on a spray for bottles of 100 ml
