Structure

The active ingredient of the drug propoxur, which is part of the drug, is an insect-acaricide of contact action, is active against fleas (Ctenocephalides canis, C. felis), lice (Trichodectes canis, Felicola subrostratus), lice (Linognathus setosus), parasitiform and scabies Ixodes spp., Dermacentor spp., Rhipicephalus spp., Sarcoptes canis) at all stages of their development.

Subject to the recommendations for use, the drug does not have a local irritant, skin resorptive and sensitizing effect.

Application

Prevention and treatment of dogs, cats and ornamental rodents in diseases caused by ectoparasites: fleas (Ctenocephalides spp.), Lice (Trichodectes canis, Felicola subrostratus), lice (Linognathus setosus), parasitiform mites. .) at the imaginal and larval stages of development.

Dosage

The processing of animals is carried out in an open space or in a well-ventilated area. To prevent licking of the preparation, the jaws of the animals are fixed with a loop or a “protective collar” is put on the neck. Before use, the balloon is shaken and, pressing the spray head of the balloon, direct a spray stream from a distance of 10-20 cm to the animal’s body against the fur growth for several seconds, until the coat and skin are slightly moistened. Covering the eyes of the animal, the auricles and chest are treated, the drug is applied with the tips of the fingers around the eyes and nose, then the neck, limbs, abdomen and tail are treated.

Repeated treatments are carried out according to indications, but not more often 1-2 times a week.

Caveats

When working with the drug, it is necessary to use rubber gloves and cotton-gauze bandages. Do not smoke, drink or eat while handling animals. In case of accidental contact of the drug on the skin or mucous membranes, it should be immediately washed off with plenty of water. After processing animals, wash your face and hands, rinse your mouth; wash and dry gloves. It is forbidden to use the preparation near an open fire.
